Part Time Merchandiser - Coldwater, MI

About the role

American Greetings is seeking a Merchandiser to help showcase and manage inventory levels of greetings cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, and more in various retail locations. The role involves merchandising, organizing product displays, maintaining backroom areas, and assisting with store resets.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations.
• Maintain an organized backroom area.
• Other inventory tasks as needed.
• Communicate with management about service or schedule issues.
• Utilize effective time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime business hours.
• Occasionally assist with store resets involving minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal.
• Review and plan weekly service schedules and workload using a company-issued tablet.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation and internet.
• Technological competency to use a company-issued tablet for training and daily activities.
• Meet scheduling needs, including occasional weekends and major holiday periods.

Pay

The starting pay is $14.00 per hour, increasing to $14.80 after 6 months and $15.50 after 1 year of employment. Pay rates may vary based on work location.
