Part Time Merchandiser - Bradford, VT

About the role

American Greetings is seeking a Merchandiser to help showcase our product in various retail locations. The role involves merchandising and organizing product displays, maintaining inventory levels, and providing customer service.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders
• Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations
• Maintain an organized backroom area
• Other inventory tasks as needed
• Communicate with management about service or schedule issues
• Utilize effective time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced retail environment
• Partner with and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime business hours
• Occasionally assist with store resets, including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company-issued tablet
• Work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation and internet
• Technological competency to use company-issued tablet for training and daily activities
• Meet scheduling needs, including occasional weekends and major holiday periods

Pay

The starting pay is $14.90 per hour with increases to $15.70 after 6 months and $16.50 after 1 year of employment. Flexible work scheduling is offered.

Schedule

The weekly average hours are 3 hours, which may increase to an average of 9 hours per week around holidays. Routes service three retail locations: 901 Lower Pln, Bradford, VT, 05033; 15 Forrest St, Woodsville, NH; and 2972 Darthmouth College Hwy, North Haverhill, NH.
