Part Time- Member Success Coordinator - Fitness Center
Responsibilities
- Membership Processing: Handle membership sign-ups, renewals, and cancellations, ensuring accurate data entry and payment processing.
- Locker Room Oversight: Communicate locker room closures or updates to members in advance, ensuring they are well-informed.
- Facility Support: Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and common areas of the facility.
- Team Assistance: Collaborate with fitness trainers, maintenance staff, and other departments to address any member concerns or facility issues.
- Conflict Resolution: Address member concerns or complaints promptly, escalating issues to the supervisor as necessary.
- Event Support: Assist in organizing and promoting special events or fitness programs as needed.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a fitness or customer service environment preferred.

- Strong leadership and organizational skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and individuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Work Hours
Flexible shifts; may include evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on facility needs. This position will be primarily mid-day (9 am to 3 pm).
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and some evenings.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Limited exposure to physical risk.
Safety
Provide resources for safe operation of units. Create and support workplace safety.
Pay and Benefits
- The rate of pay is up to $10-$12 per hour depending on experience for up to 19 hours per week.

About the Role
Kilgore College KC Excel at Parks Fitness Center is open to students and the community. The Floor Attendant at KC Excel will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members and guests while maintaining a friendly, welcoming environment. This position will serve as the fitness center point of contact for inquiries and assist with a variety of tasks to ensure smooth operations of the fitness center.
