Part Time Member Service & Sales (Teller) Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities
- Provides exceptional member service to credit union membership by assessing member needs, advising to meet their needs, and assisting in transactions, including opening new accounts, servicing existing accounts, and explaining products and services.
- Educates on financial transactions through MACU tools, resources, and technology, and cross-sells products and services as needed through a consultation approach.
- Increases member satisfaction and account retention by meeting sales and service goals.
- Makes outbound efforts to call existing membership to provide additional consultation on MACU products and services.
- Solves problems by clarifying member complaints, determining the cause, providing solutions, and following up to ensure resolution.
- Follows up with member interactions with thank you notes and phone calls using the MACU New Member Onboarding approach.
- Maintains cash drawer, initiates wire transfers, cashiers checks, and cash advances, creates VISA cards, opens and processes IRA transactions, certificates of deposit, and redeems savings bonds.
- Plays a role in fraud disputes, accurately and efficiently processes transactions, follows policies and procedures, assists in opening and closing branch procedures, and responsible for Branch Security.
- Represents the credit union professionally in dress and actions, keeps work area neat and clean, responds to communication in a timely manner, actively participates in product knowledge courses, and complies with all regulations as required by law.
- May travel as required, performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least six months of customer service experience.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- To be completed during the first 90 days: MSR onboarding through Branch Foundations, Teller Branch Checklist, Products & Services, and Teller Follow-up Training.
- Proficient computer operating skills, understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- No supervisory/managerial responsibilities.

Benefits
Starting competitive pay of $17.50 per hour and can increase depending on experience, plus incentives. Additional $1.00 per hour added to base pay if bilingual in English/Spanish. Pay
Starting competitive pay of $17.50 per hour and can increase depending on experience, plus incentives. Additional $1.00 per hour added to base pay if bilingual in English/Spanish.
Schedule
Part Time; Monday – Friday 8:40am – 2:15pm; Saturdays 8:40am – 2:15pm. Day off during the week when a Saturday is worked.
