Part-Time Medical ICU Registered Nurse

About the Role

We are seeking compassionate registered nurses for a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) with a focus on critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring and life-support interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with nursing standards.
• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management and post-discharge needs.
• Develop and document individualized care plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring effective communication across the care continuum.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, and spiritual preferences.
• Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• Active RN license required.
• BSN and CCRN preferred.
• Prior ICU experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work safely in a high-acuity environment with alertness and professionalism.
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills.

Schedule

Part-time position with weekend requirements (every 3rd weekend).
