Part Time ICU Registered Nurse

Position Overview

Provides direct patient care in a critical care setting within an ICU environment, promoting patient and family-centered care, safety, and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assessment, diagnosis, care planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring effective communication across the care team
• Develops individualized care plans with collaborative input, addressing physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs
• Educates patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration
• Participates in professional development activities
• Growth opportunities into leadership positions such as Team Lead or Charge Nurse

Qualifications & Skills

• RN license required, with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor's preferred
• ICU experience is required; no prior experience necessary for entry level
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work safely in a high-alert environment

Position Details

• Part-time, night shift (12 hours)
