Key Duties
- Welcome and room patients
- Record height, weight, and vital signs
- Review medical histories and chief complaints
- Perform blood draws, injections, and EKGs
- Handle patient follow-up calls and messages using EPIC
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years medical experience, or a relevant degree and completion of a medical assistant program (preferred)
- Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant (preferred)
- Experience in medical assisting or medical office work (preferred)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
