Part-Time Media Specialist - Communications
Job Description And Position Requirements
The Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications, Media Center is seeking a Part-Time Media Specialist. Candidates will assist in the use of the TV Studio and Control Room with associated equipment and procedures including documentation of lab procedures. Hours will be assigned to accommodate weekdays, evenings, and weekend open lab time.
- A working knowledge of a TV Studio setting and corresponding equipment to include: Graphics Production, Switcher, Audio Console, Editing Software, Stage Lighting
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and workflow problems and issues
- Completion of COMM 282/242 and COMM 283 or equivalent work experience/knowledge preferred
- This position is meant to supplement and enhance students’ coursework knowledge
