Part Time - Meat Wrapper

About the role

The Meat Wrapper is responsible for handling meat products, including weighing, wrapping, pricing, and labeling, while maintaining a clean work area and providing attentive customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper processing, preparation, and packaging of meat products in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Verify accurate pricing and clear labeling of products.
• Maintain proper case conditions through cleaning, stocking, and rotating stock to minimize shrinkage.
• Provide courteous and friendly customer service to promote sales.
• Follow directions from managers and perform assigned duties.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred 1-2 years of retail or meat department experience.
• Ability to identify all meat cuts, perform basic math, and operate equipment like wrapping machines and scales.
• Physical ability to stand, lift up to 100 lb, and work in varying environments, including cold storage.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

Schedule

Flexible availability for different shifts, including mornings, days, and evenings, with a focus on second shift.
