Pay
$18.50–$20.00/hour
What You'll Do
- Tutor K–8 students through personalized one-on-one math instruction
- Explain math concepts in ways students can easily understand
- Encourage problem-solving and critical thinking
- Build students' confidence and celebrate their progress
- Create a positive, engaging learning environment
- Track student progress using our curriculum and resources
- Create positive relationships with students and families
- No lesson planning required—we provide the curriculum, materials, and training
Who We're Looking For
- Enjoys helping others learn
- Has a strong foundation in math
- Communicates clearly and patiently
- Is responsible and dependable
- Loves encouraging and motivating younger students
- Currently in high school (16+) or college, or has a high school diploma
- Teaching or tutoring experience is a plus, but not required
Schedule
- Tuesday & Thursday: 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM
- Wednesday & Friday: 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Career Growth
- Tutor Gain hands-on teaching experience while making a difference in students' lives.
- Lead Tutor Mentor newer tutors and take on additional leadership responsibilities.
- Assistant Manager Support daily learning center operations, help train new team members, and ensure a great student experience.
- Learning Center Manager Lead a team, oversee center operations, and help shape the learning experience for students and staff.
