Part Time Math & Science Teacher - 1-to-1 Education

About the role

Brightmont Academy offers a unique part-time teaching opportunity focused on one-to-one instruction for students in grades 1–12. Since 1999, we’ve provided personalized education across 26 campuses in 11 states, creating a nurturing, student-centered environment.

In this role, you’ll teach students individually, tailoring lessons to their unique needs and learning styles. There is no lesson planning, parent conferences, or grading outside of instruction—your focus is solely on inspiring and empowering students.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Engineering), or a related subject
• Patience and empathy for students with diverse learning needs
• Genuine passion for teaching and sharing your subject
• Proficiency with G-Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS)
• Ability to provide fingerprints (AZ, WA only) and pass a federal background check

Bonus Qualifications

• Teaching certification (not required)
• Advanced degree in a specific subject area
• Previous one-to-one teaching experience
