Part-Time Marketing Assistant
About the role
This is a hands-on, execution-focused marketing and events support role. As our part-time Marketing Assistant, you will play a critical role in both content creation and event execution, ensuring that everything from what we produce online to how we show up in person is polished, organized, and professional. You will not only capture and create content, but also actively support the success of our events by helping ensure they run smoothly and reflect the quality of our brand.
Schedule & Structure
- About 15 hours per week
- Primarily weekday (Tue, Wed, Thu) hours with flexibility
- 1 event day per week (~6-8 hrs on those days - often on Wednesdays)
- Hybrid - some work can be done from home, and the rest is either done in the office or providing support at an event venue in Volusia County
- Sometimes evenings/weekends may be needed (rare)
Compensation
$19 - $20/hour
The Reality of This Role
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that includes both marketing and event execution. You will be on your feet during events, helping ensure everything runs smoothly. Success requires balancing: attention to detail, responsiveness in real-time environments, and the ability to switch between tasks quickly. This is not a purely creative or desk-based role.
