Responsibilities

• Crush sales goals by delivering next‑level customer experiences, upselling accessories, and promoting promos to drive revenue.
• Join the ranks of our piercing experts through comprehensive training; conduct piercings, educate on aftercare, maintain a sterile environment, and address customer questions.
• Maintain an Instagram‑worthy store with perfect displays, organized inventory, and easy‑to‑shop layouts.
• Support the Store Manager by motivating the team, sharing sales tips, and creating a positive, high‑energy vibe.
• Showcase Claire’s products and services; stay plugged into the latest fashion and social media trends to help customers find their perfect style.
• Oversee store operations, including inventory management, cash transactions, visual merchandising, and coordinating promotional activities.
• Encourage customers to share their new accessories and piercings on social media, turning their Claire’s haul into a viral moment.

About You

Job Requirements

• Ability to conduct piercings with patience and empathy, especially with young or anxious customers.
• Proficiency in operating a POS system for transactions and sales management.
• Completed some high school and at least one year of retail management experience.
• Physical ability to stand during shifts and lift/maneuver 11‑35 kg (25‑75 lb); bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders or step stools.
• Passion for providing customers opportunities for self‑expression.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, employees, and management.
• Strong grasp of mathematics for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.
• Positive attitude, team player, willingness to learn, self‑motivated and organized (able to work alone at times).
• Passion for fashion and staying up‑to‑date with trends to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
• Ability to create curated fashion looks with products during shift.

Compensation

All positions will be compensated at or above the legally mandated minimum wage for the location in which work is performed. Final compensation will be determined by factors such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
