Responsibilities

• Drive sales by delivering exceptional customer experiences, upselling accessories, and promoting current offers to boost revenue.
• Become a piercing expert through comprehensive training, conducting piercings, educating customers on aftercare, maintaining a sterile environment, and addressing questions or concerns.
• Maintain an inviting, well-organized store with visually appealing displays, easy-to-shop layouts, and up-to-date inventory.
• Support the Store Manager by motivating the team, sharing sales strategies, and fostering a positive, high-energy atmosphere.
• Represent Claire’s brand by staying informed on the latest fashion and social media trends to help customers find their perfect style and suggest products that drive sales.
• Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, cash handling, visual merchandising, and coordinating promotional activities.
• Encourage customers to share their purchases and experiences on social media, creating shareable moments that amplify the brand.

Requirements

• Ability to conduct piercings with patience and empathy, especially for young or anxious customers.
• Proficiency in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
• At least one year of retail experience, preferably with leadership or sales-driving responsibilities.
• Physical ability to stand for scheduled shifts and maneuver 11-35kg (25-75lbs), including bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing ladders or step stools.
• Passion for helping customers express themselves and providing excellent service throughout their visit.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers, employees, and management.
• Solid grasp of mathematics for tasks such as inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.

• Passion for fashion and staying up-to-date with the latest trends to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
• Ability to create curated fashion looks with products during shifts.

Qualifications

• Completed some high school.
• At least one year of retail management experience.
