Responsibilities

• Drive sales by delivering exceptional customer experiences, upselling accessories, and promoting current offers to maximize revenue.
• Become a piercing expert through comprehensive training: conduct piercings, educate customers on aftercare, maintain a sterile environment, and address questions or concerns.
• Maintain an inviting, well-organized store with eye-catching displays, easy-to-shop layouts, and up-to-date inventory.
• Support the Store Manager by motivating the team, sharing sales strategies, and fostering a positive, high-energy atmosphere.
• Represent Claire’s brand by staying current on fashion and social media trends, helping customers find their perfect style, and suggesting products to boost sales.
• Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, cash handling, visual merchandising, and coordinating promotional activities.
• Encourage customers to share their new accessories and piercings on social media, creating shareable moments and viral potential.

Requirements

• Ability to conduct piercings with patience and empathy, especially for young or anxious customers.
• Proficiency in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
• Completion of some high school and at least one year of retail management experience.
• Physical ability to stand for scheduled shifts, lift 11-35kg (25-75lbs), bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders or step stools for merchandising and customer assistance.
• Passion for helping customers express themselves and providing excellent service throughout their visit.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, employees, and management.
• Solid grasp of mathematics for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.

• Ability to create curated fashion looks with products during shifts.
