About the Role

The LVN Dispensing Nurse provides compassionate, professional care in an outpatient opioid treatment program, focusing on medication administration, patient assessment, monitoring vital signs, and patient education. They collaborate with the clinical team to ensure safe, effective treatment while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately
• Document care and patient progress
• Manage medication inventory
• Conduct lab tests and specimen collection
• Assist with patient intake and monitoring
• Ensure regulatory compliance
• May include transporting medication or working on mobile units

Requirements

• Active LVN/LPN license in California
• Preferred experience in behavioral health, addiction recovery, or outpatient treatment
• Proficiency in monitoring vital signs and medication administration
• Experience with EMR systems
• Knowledge of medication-assisted treatment and regulatory compliance
