Part-Time Lunch/Recess Worker

About the role

Temporary part‑time seasonal support positions within Chicago Public Schools, working in school‑based, network, and central office settings. Workers provide support as requested by administrators, contributing to the district’s vision that every student engages in a rigorous, well‑rounded instructional program and graduates prepared for college, career, and life.

Responsibilities

• Office support duties related to opening and closing the school day.
• Data entry, filing, answering phones, and other clerical tasks.
• Supporting overall school operations as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Medium work: exerting 20–50 lb of force occasionally, 10–15 lb frequently, or up to 10 lb constantly to move objects.
• Physical demands exceed those of light work.

Compensation

Salary range: $16.60 – $40.00 per hour.
