Ft. Myers Academy (FMYA) is located in Fort Myers, Florida. We are a moderate risk, all-female program, contracted through the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, which offers comprehensive care and treatment, specializing in evidence-based intensive mental health services. The academy offers qualified supervision hours. We are dedicated to providing high-quality care in a serene and supportive environment, designed to promote healing and recovery for individuals facing mental health challenges. With a focus on evidence-based practices, Ft. Myers Academy ensures that each client receives personalized, effective treatment tailored to their specific needs.

Responsibilities

• The Licensed Nurse (LPN or RN) - Part Time works as a key member of the medical team and provides for the general health care of the students within the scope of your license.
• This may include administering immunizations, assisting with TB screening, flu vaccines, and overall health maintenance of students and staff.
• As a Part-Time LPN, you will also assist with training employees regarding relevant health care topics such as prevention of sports injuries, blood borne pathogens, CPR, First Aid, and behavioral disorders.
• This position assists in ordering supplies, pharmaceuticals, and other medical equipment for the medical team.

Requirements

• Possess a current Licensed Practical Nursing Credential from Florida.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and TB testing.
• Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Pay

Pay: Ranging from $29 - $34.00 per hour (USD) based upon experience and license.

Schedule

Schedule: Typically, 10-hour shifts.
