About the role
The City of Sioux Falls Health Department is accepting applications for a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN). The LPN/RN will provide professional nursing care for clients in a clinic setting at Falls Community Health.
Responsibilities
- Work as a member of the patient care team to provide patient-centered care
- Assist other clinical staff
- Schedule specialty referrals
- Provide patient education
- Administer vaccines
- Assist with medication refill requests and procedures
- Track and return patient phone calls
- Perform other clinical duties as needed
Pay
- LPN: $24.67 – $26.69 hourly
- RN: $33.88 – $36.94 hourly
Schedule
This is a non-benefited position with the ability to work up to 28 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Minimum Qualifications
- Superior customer service skills
- Effective communication skills
- EMR experience
- Must hold or be able to obtain State of South Dakota Board of Nursing Certificate as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse prior to hire
