About the role
Provide compassionate care and support to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their health, safety, and personal fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Respectful communication, guidance in daily activities, and supporting residents’ relationships, personal preferences, and religious practices.
- Follow care plans, administer treatments, monitor health, assist with hygiene, accompany residents to medical appointments, and document medical information accurately.
- Assist with medication administration, vital signs, medical procedures, and staff training.
- Advocate for residents during hospitalizations and communicate effectively with medical staff.
- Assist with emergency drills, safety protocols, and mobility support using proper equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and handle food preparation adhering to standards.
- Support residents in community outings, ensure home safety, and assist with daily living skills to promote independence.
Qualifications & Skills
- Compassionate attitude and strong communication skills.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans.
- Knowledge of medical procedures and safety awareness.
- Ability to lift and reposition residents safely.
