Part-Time Lot Supervisor

Reliant Park in Houston, Texas is a premier facility with four major venues: Reliant Center (1M+ sq. ft. convention center), Reliant Stadium (home of the Houston Texans and the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo), Reliant Astrodome, and Reliant Arena.

About the role

Under direct supervision of the Outside Operations Managers and Coordinators, the Part-Time Parking Lot Supervisor is responsible for parking operations during all events across Reliant Park’s lots. Acts as liaison between the facility and clients to ensure requirements are met and facility policies are followed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the event parking plan with Outside Operations Managers, Coordinators, and other Lot Supervisors.
• Arrange necessary staffing and traffic control for all parking lots.
• Ensure work schedules align with event timelines.
• Supervise Parking Attendants to ensure compliance with parking policies and procedures.
• Enforce all parking policies and procedures.
• Assist with setup and teardown of parking lots.
• Monitor Parking Attendants to ensure proper uniform standards are met.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Carry out supervisory duties in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (technical school certificate or degree is a plus).
• Minimum of five years’ parking supervisory experience.
• Valid U.S. motor vehicle license.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of parking procedures, facility operations, industry terminology, and event-related services.
• Demonstrated supervisory skills, conflict resolution, and high-level customer service.
• Understanding of parking lot practices, methods, techniques, and equipment care.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively.
• Flexibility to adjust to changing situations and work irregular hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold, etc.).

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to move around the facility and stand for long hours during events.
• Must be able to talk and hear.
• May require work inside or outside the building as needed by events.
