Part-Time Lifeguard – Summer Camp Program
Training & Development
- Maintain a safe swimming environment at all times
- Enforce all pool and water safety rules
- Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies and administer first aid/CPR when needed
- Conduct routine safety checks of pool areas and equipment
- Auxiliary camp staff with camper supervision during pool transitions
Responsibilities
- Build positive relationships with campers, families, and team members
- Remain alert and respond calmly in emergency situations
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Current Lifeguard Certification required
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required
- Previous experience working with children preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain alert and respond calmly in emergency situations

This is a part-time seasonal position at a Summer Camp. The position involves monitoring swimmers, enforcing safety rules, responding to emergencies, conducting safety checks, assisting with camper supervision, building positive relationships, and maintaining a professional, alert, and positive attitude.
