Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing patient-centered care under RN supervision. Responsibilities: Assessing patients, performing routine nursing procedures, managing medication administration, preparing patients for exams, assisting with treatments, coordinating tests and follow-up care, and documenting treatments accurately. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and revise care plans, educates patients and families, and ensures culturally sensitive, relationship-based care. Participates in staff education, in-services, and mentorship for new staff. Qualifications & Skills: High School diploma or GED, valid LPN license, BLS certification; healthcare experience preferred, especially in oncology or outpatient settings. Requires strong clinical, assessment, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with computer proficiency. Key Duties: Providing safe, high-quality care, coordinating services, educating patients, maintaining documentation, and adhering to policies and standards.
