PART TIME LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE

About the role

The Harrisburg Juvenile Treatment Center is dedicated to providing a comprehensive, trauma-responsive program for at-risk young females. Our mission is to foster personal and academic growth, empowering young women to become successful and resilient adults.

Responsibilities

• Administer immunizations, assist with TB screens, flu vaccines, and overall health maintenance of students and staff.
• Assist with training employees on relevant health care topics such as prevention of sports injuries, blood borne pathogens, CPR, First Aid, and behavioral disorders.
• Order supplies, pharmaceuticals, and medical equipment for the Medical team.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current LPN licensure in the state of Arkansas is required.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test.
• Pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.
• Meet the requirements to be an eligible driver, including having an active Driver’s License.

• Knowledge of trauma-responsive practices.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification.

Benefits

Pay

$25 per hour; can increase with level of education and experience.

Schedule

12-hour shifts; 3/2 – 2/3 schedule (work every other weekend).
