About the role

The Center Medical Specialist performs physical examinations, evaluates donor health, and establishes medical history to determine donor suitability in plasma donation centers.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with donors and ensure confidentiality
• Provide health education and manage adverse events
• Counsel donors on test results
• Assist in staff training
• Administer employee hepatitis vaccines

Requirements

• Current licensure or certification as a Registered Nurse, LPN/LVN, Paramedic, or EMT
• CPR certification

Skills

• Strong communication and attention to detail
• Physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a biological environment while wearing protective gear
