Part Time Lice Tech

About the role

As our Head Lice Removal Technician, you’ll be trained in our 100% all-natural lice removal process. A typical appointment lasts about 2–2½ hours, during which you will:

• Remove all lice and nits from your client’s hair with precision and care.
• Educate the family on lice prevention and treatment techniques so they feel confident moving forward.
• Be a calming presence in an anxious household, turning what feels like a nightmare into a stress-free experience.

You control your availability—choose how many appointments you take, anytime between 7 AM and midnight. We ask that you commit to a minimum of 2 shifts or 8 hours per week.

Requirements

• 18+ years old
• Ability to perform hands-on, repetitive tasks
• Reliable transportation
• Sufficient command of the English language for client-facing interactions
• Pleasant, articulate, patient, and confident demeanor

Bonus points if you’ve worked in the hair or medical fields, but it’s not required. What matters most is a positive attitude and enjoyment of working with families.

Preferred Experience

• With children (school nurse, teacher, teacher aide, school aide, preschool, childcare, babysitter, au pair)
• As a domestic engineer (stay-at-home parent, homeschool, housekeeping)
• In the beauty/hair/spa industry (cosmetologist, hairstylist, barber, colorist, esthetician, braider, salon attendant)
• In healthcare (nurse, HHA, CNA, EMT, phlebotomist, medical assistant, RN, LPN, homecare, medical lab tech, therapist)
• With part-time or gig-economy jobs (pet sitter, mobile groomer, fitness instructor, delivery driver, Uber/Lyft, etc.)

Note: During paid training (up to ~2 weeks), you’ll earn $18/hour at the Apprentice Level before advancing to full technician pay.

Pay

• Starting pay: $30/hour
• Earn up to $35/hour based on performance
