Responsibilities
- Teach courses within the assigned discipline area in accordance with institutional standards
- Evaluate and assess student learning outcomes
- Provide student support, mentoring, and academic advising
- Develop curriculum and periodically review and update instructional materials
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in the subject matter
- One (1) or more years’ teaching-related college-level courses (24+ credits)
- Experience using technology to enhance the learning environment, e.g., Blackboard, online instruction or other modalities/software
Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including individuals with disabilities
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Benefits
Salary: $2,352 per contact/credit hour ($7,056 for a 3-credit course).

Schedule
Each semester shall be for a maximum of sixteen (16) weeks and shall include eighty (80) scheduled days of instruction and evaluation. Incumbents can teach a total of up to 8 credits per semester within the CSCC system.
