Part-Time Lecturer - MPS Insurance, Analytics and Management

Responsibilities

• Teach on-ground, hybrid, and online graduate-level courses in Insurance, Analytics and Management.
• Instructional areas include, but are not limited to, analytics/AI (e.g., probability and statistics, data exploration, data visualization, and predictive analytics, ML), and insurance specific topics like underwriting, claim management, finance, reinsurance, etc.
• Prepare professionals for success as insurance professionals at the intersection of technology, application, digital leadership and decision support.
• Prepare students for entry- and mid-level roles in the Insurance industry and roles in Claims Management, Insurance Finance, Underwriting, Product Pricing and Distribution, Technology and Analysis, and International Insurance.
• Support experiential learning closely linked to professional applications in the workforce.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Masters in an aligned discipline and/or analytics-industry experience.
• Preference for candidates with a PhD in a sciences field, or similar.
• Demonstration of teaching, coaching, and/or training, with a history of successful teaching (online/on ground) at the graduate level is strongly preferred.
