Part-Time Lecturer - Information Systems, Analytics and Operations, College of Business
About the role
The Department of Information Systems, Analytics and Operations in the College of Business invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer (PTL) teaching positions to begin August 2026 and January 2027. Review of applications will begin upon receipt and continue until positions are filled. Hiring is contingent upon availability of funding and continued need.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Blackboard Ultra learning management portal to present engaging and accessible learning experiences, provide meaningful course feedback and respond to students in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate course records, grades, and required documentation in accordance with university policies.
- Communicate regularly with designated course coordinators.
- Comply with university and departmental expectations.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Management, or a closely related field plus a minimum of five years’ relevant work experience.
- A record of success teaching courses at the university level, with experience in workforce education is highly desired.
Qualifications
- Unofficial transcript from school where highest degree earned (official transcript required prior to employment).
Skills
- Ability to teach at a university level for both face-to-face and online course delivery.
- Experience in workforce education.
