About the role
Greystar is a leading real estate platform managing and operating over $300 billion of real estate in more than 265 markets globally. This part-time position involves performing all sales and leasing activities to achieve the community's revenue and occupancy goals.
Responsibilities
- Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, show apartments, process applications, credit screen, and perform criminal background checks.
- Prepare lease and move-in packages, ensure smooth move-ins, and address any outstanding items with the maintenance team.
- Stay informed about market conditions, develop and implement marketing plans, and follow policies related to concessions and special programs.
- Create and execute marketing activities, including resident referral and employer outreach programs, and use internet marketing tools.
- Use on-site property management software to track apartment availability, record leasing activities, manage resident data, and ensure show units meet quality standards.
- Ensure the community and show units meet company standards by inspecting the marketing corridor and leasing tour, communicating maintenance needs, merchandising, and preparing the leasing office.
- Follow up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction through various communication methods and take prompt action to resolve issues.
- Support the lease renewal program by preparing renewal letters and packages, meeting with renewing residents, and ensuring timely implementation of lease renewal documents.
- Respond quickly and courteously to resident and client inquiries, and take prompt action to solve problems or document and convey resident or other requests.
Requirements
Incumbents must have all licenses and/or certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions and a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
Physical Demands
- Stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
- Work inside and outside in all weather conditions.
- Push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty-five (25) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance.
- Rare or regular travel may be required to assist other properties, attend training classes, business meetings, or other situations.
- Work a flexible work schedule, including taking “call” during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Pay
The hourly range for this role is $21.00 - $23.00. Additional compensation may include participation in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance, and weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs for onsite property positions.
