Part-Time Lead Sales Associate

Role Overview The position involves functioning as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Key duties include unloading trucks, stocking and rotating merchandise, assisting customers, operating cash registers, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization. The role emphasizes providing exceptional customer service, supporting merchandising efforts, and ensuring store safety and security. Responsibilities Unload trucks and process incoming merchandise following store procedures.Stock, rotate, and display products, including implementing plan-o-grams.Assist customers in locating items and provide superior service.Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and manage cash accountability.Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning floors, restrooms, and stockrooms.Support store setup and visual merchandising efforts.In the absence of management, authorize refunds, oversee cash handling, and monitor security activities. Qualifications & Skills Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle cash accurately.Knowledge of cash handling, security, and safety policies.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to follow plan-o-grams and merchandise presentation guidelines.High school diploma or equivalent; supervisory or related experience preferred.
