We're seeking a dependable and motivated Lead Security Officer to support daily security operations at a busy car auction facility in Newburgh, NY. This role combines hands-on security responsibilities with leadership duties, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their supervisory experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support Security Officers during assigned shifts
• Assist with daily scheduling, post assignments, and operational coverage
• Conduct patrols of vehicle lots, perimeter areas, and access points
• Monitor entry and exit gates to maintain site security
• Perform vehicle inventory support and security inspections
• Respond to incidents and assist with investigations as needed
• Prepare detailed reports and communicate security concerns to management
• Ensure officers are following post orders and site procedures
• Serve as a liaison between site management and security personnel

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous security experience preferred
• Prior leadership, supervisory, military, law enforcement, or security lead experience preferred
• Reliable transportation to Newburgh, NY
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Professional demeanor and dependable attendance
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required
