Part-Time Laundry Assistant
General Responsibilities
- Mopping, buffing, stripping and waxing floors
- Carpet care
- General housekeeping and cleaning on various shifts
- Trash removal
Qualifications
- Ability to adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position with minimal supervision
- Ability to buff, polish and strip floors using heavy equipment in an orderly condition
- Ability to handle hazardous waste in the proper manner
- Knowledge of S.D.S. (Safety Data Sheets) regulations
- Knowledge of cleaning agents, equipment, and methods of soil removal

Pay
The pay rate for this position is $12.00 per hour.
Schedule
This position works 7:30a-11:30a 5 days/week.
About the Role
We are seeking a Part-Time Day Environmental Services Team Member – Housekeeping to join our team at The Village at Luther Ridge in Chambersburg.
Requirements
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license. Previous experience in housekeeping or related field is preferred but not required.
Skills
Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong communication skills are essential.
