Part Time - Kitchen Helper

About the Role

Join a compassionate team dedicated to serving seniors in a community-focused environment. This role supports the dining experience by preparing and maintaining a fresh salad bar, assisting with table service, and ensuring cleanliness and safety of tableware and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashers and wash and store tableware and equipment
• Clean food preparation and service areas
• Assist in table setting and food presentation
• Handle food preparation tools safely
• Perform additional support tasks as needed

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Basic English communication skills
• Ability to work Tuesday–Saturday, 11:30 am to 8:00 pm
• Food handler permit must be obtained within two weeks of employment

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to follow safety and sanitation standards
• Friendly, polite communication with residents and team members
• Willingness to assist with additional tasks as needed
