About the role

This position involves teaching transfer courses in various disciplines. The candidate must hold specific academic credentials based on the subject area to be taught.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in one of the following disciplines: Biology, Early Childhood Education, Chemistry, Math, Psychology, Physics, Physical Science, Sociology, Nutrition, Physical Education, or Education.
• Plan and implement appropriate activities to supplement instruction.
• Maintain records and files as requested by the department, including submitting grade sheets in a timely manner.
• Log on to the learning management system daily, respond to emails regularly, and successfully complete the responsibilities of the position.
• Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfully complete the responsibilities of the position.
• Comply with HutchCC policies, procedures and practices.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

To instruct transfer courses, the candidate must hold a Master's degree in that discipline or a Master's degree in another discipline plus 18 graduate hours in the particular discipline to be taught.
