About the role

Part-time faculty members support the visions, missions, and values of the colleges and District. Responsibilities include classroom instruction, student evaluation, curriculum development, student advising, professional development, and assignment-specific tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver instruction in Surveying courses
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
  • Develop and update curriculum as needed
  • Advise students on academic and career matters
  • Engage in professional development activities
  • Fulfill assignment-specific requirements

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in any subject and two years of experience in Surveying, OR
  • An associate degree in any subject and six years of experience in Surveying, OR
  • Equivalent qualifications (Equivalency Determination Form required)

Working Conditions

Faculty positions may require long periods of standing and walking in a typical classroom setting. Specific conditions vary by subject taught.

Pay

Starting salary range: $70.84 – $86.11 per hour (Class II, step 1 to Class VI, step 1) based on the Adjunct, Overload and Substitute Salary Schedule.
