About the role

The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District seeks to hire part-time instructors in American Sign Language to support the mission of transforming lives through learning.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks supporting the district’s visions, missions, and values.
  • Teach assigned courses and fulfill any specific assignment needs.
  • Evaluate students and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Provide student advising and engage in professional development activities.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in any subject and two years of experience in American Sign Language, OR
  • An associate degree in any subject and six years of experience in American Sign Language, OR
  • The equivalent qualifications as per the district’s requirements.
