Part-Time Inpatient LPN

Role Overview: Provide direct nursing care within the emergency department, working under the supervision of RNs. Responsibilities include delivering safe patient care across diverse age groups, assisting with tests, procedures, and emergency measures, and maintaining accurate medical records. Ensure a safe, comfortable environment and adhere to hospital policies. Participate in orientation, ongoing education, and contribute to patient safety initiatives. Support with routine treatments, medication administration (excluding IV push), and equipment management. Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, including discharge planning and patient teaching. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited LPN program with current licensure in NM or reciprocal agreementCPR/BLS certification required within 30 daysNo minimum experience required, but 1 year of related experience preferredBilingual skills in English and another language (e.g., Spanish, Navajo) are advantageousPhysical ability to perform heavy work, including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionallyAbility to work in environments with biohazards and chemicals, following PPE protocols Key Duties Assist with special tests, procedures, and emergency responsesMaintain patient safety and environmental standardsParticipate in staff training and professional developmentEnsure proper documentation and medication administration following protocolsSupport patient education and discharge planning Note: Shift differentials apply, and a sign-on bonus is available.
