Part-Time Innovation Consultant
The Krause Studios for Innovation is hiring Innovation Consultants for the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semester.
About the role
The job of an Innovation Consultant offers undergraduate students the opportunity to gain valuable experience supporting students, faculty, and staff around innovative technology-supported pedagogy. The Innovation Consultant is responsible for assisting others in using the equipment in the Krause Innovation Studio and Krause Learning Space. The equipment includes iPads, projectors, interactive whiteboards, room reservation devices, and other technology resources.
Responsibilities
- Assist others in using the equipment in the Krause Innovation Studio and Krause Learning Space.
- Support students, faculty, and staff around innovative technology-supported pedagogy.
- Work flexible hours between 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. Friday, or 5:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. on Sunday.
- Join the intellectual work of the Krause Studios, including various research projects.
Requirements
- Evidence of excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with educational technology.
Qualifications
- Education or a related discipline is preferred.
- Flexible scheduling around classes is included with a starting salary of $9.75 per hour.
