Part-Time Infusion Nurse (RN) Float - Colonie, NY

The Role

We’re looking for a Part Time Infusion Nurse who is passionate about raising the bar in infusion therapy care. The Infusion Nurse will contribute to the company’s growth by providing direct patient care at our infusion center in Colonie, NY. The Infusion Nurse will make sure our patients receive the highest level of care possible in infusion therapy.

• Assess and document the health status of the patient
• Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and organization guidelines
• Absorb and utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies
• Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers, such as order clarification, patient status, and plan of care
• Provide onsite supervision for all patients

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in New York
• ACLS & PALS Certification (preferred)
• Current BLS CPR certification
• Excellent IV skills (infusion therapy experience a plus)
• Part-time with the potential to move to full-time
