Part Time ICU Nurse

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care in a critical care setting, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
• Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team and patients/families, ensuring effective communication across care transitions.
• Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, and spiritual considerations.

This role is safety-sensitive, requiring alertness and safe work practices at all times.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred.
• Licenses: Valid RN license.
• Experience: No prior experience required; two years of experience preferred for advanced roles.

Experience in ICU required, with opportunities for career growth into leadership roles.

Schedule

Work involves night shifts in a 4-bed ICU environment, serving critical and step-down patients, including post-surgical and emergency response cases.
