Part Time Housekeeper

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
• Responsible for general cleaning and trash removal of grounds and residential areas, including make-ready units and common areas
• Responsible for cleaning and preparing vacant units for move-in
• Responsible for cleaning and upkeep daily of community’s offices, amenities, etc.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner
• Report any observed violations of community rules and regulations to the Community Manager
• Utilize property resources, equipment and supplies economically
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities requested by Community Manager

Customer & Resident Relations

• Manage excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround and responsiveness
• Projects a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives and public recognition
• Ensure consistency in dealing with residents on all matters

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, step stools and the like
• Moves self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, including tight and confined spaces
• Remain in a stationary position, either standing or sitting for prolonged periods
• Communicate with others to exchange information
• Repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or one year’s experience in the housing industry
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions
• Basic computer skills required
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to lift and place objects up to 25 lbs.
• Be able to work overtime, weekends, and night hours (emergencies)
• Be exposed to hazardous chemicals

Salary Range

$13 per hour to $16 per hour
