Part Time Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect resident apartments, bathrooms, public restrooms, lounges, dining rooms, nursing stations, utility rooms, houses, cottages, and other assigned areas.
• Remove trash and transport it to designated disposal areas.
• Complete assigned tasks according to established priorities and schedules.
• Clean and maintain housekeeping equipment and return it to designated storage areas.
• Report maintenance concerns or needed repairs promptly.
• Keep housekeeping carts and supply closets organized, clean, and well-stocked.
• Help create a positive living environment through friendly and professional interactions with residents and team members.

Requirements

• A positive attitude and strong hospitality mindset.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Warm, respectful, and professional communication skills.
• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel, retirement community, healthcare, or similar setting is preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to understand, follow, and communicate instructions in English.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, stretch, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds independently.
• Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to operate housekeeping equipment, including vacuums.
• Comfortable working around residents and in various indoor environments.
