Part-Time Hotel Maintenance Worker

About the role

At the Baymont Inn by Wyndham Helena, we pride ourselves on providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for our guests. We are looking for a reliable, proactive, and handy individual to join our team part-time to help keep our property running smoothly and looking its best.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine property walkthroughs to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Handle basic repairs including minor plumbing, electrical (changing light fixtures/bulbs), drywall patching, and painting.
• Maintain and service guest rooms (HVAC unit cleaning, fixing furniture, adjusting doors, etc.).
• Assist with upkeep of common areas, exterior grounds, and facility equipment.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest and staff maintenance requests.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop and tool inventory.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in general maintenance, handiwork, or apartment/hotel upkeep is highly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Dependable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, or climb ladders for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work a shifting part-time schedule (please specify your availability when applying).

• Competitive hourly pay ($16.00 – $17.00/hr based on experience).
