Part-Time Hospice Nurse

Role: Hospice After Hours Registered Nurse Responsibilities Provide compassionate end-of-life care during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.Triages calls and conducts urgent home visits to address patient needs.Manage complex symptoms to ensure patient comfort in their preferred setting.Assess patient needs, adjust care plans, and administer medications appropriately.Guide families through critical moments with clear communication and support.Collaborate with the hospice team to coordinate care and ensure quality service.Document all interactions thoroughly and respond promptly to after-hours requests.Utilize sound clinical judgment while honoring patient dignity and goals of care.
