About the role

Evaluate, plan, administer, and supervise Physical Therapy treatments in accordance with physician referrals, standards, and policies. Provide age-appropriate care, collaborate with patients and families, and initiate discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient functions, identify limitations, and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement and adjust therapy interventions, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
• Communicate patient progress with the healthcare team and document according to guidelines.
• Educate patients, families, and staff; participate in discharge planning and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Supervise and delegate tasks, assist in other care areas, and adhere to policies and standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited school or equivalent.
• Current Physical Therapy license and BLS certification.
• Experience in acute care preferred; strong computer and equipment proficiency.
• Ability to adapt to caseloads and demonstrate clinical competency.
