As a Part-Time Caregiver with Guardian Angel Senior Services, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our senior clients in Ashland. You'll enjoy a flexible schedule, allowing you to balance work and personal commitments while making a real difference in the lives of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Light housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, and mopping, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment.
- Assist with basic meal preparation.
- Provide medication reminders and support clients with pre-dosed medications.
- Help clients during grocery shopping trips.
- Provide essential assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) like showering and grooming.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy.
- A genuine passion for helping seniors.
- Key communication skills, as you'll be interacting closely with clients and their families.
- Prior experience or certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is beneficial, but free training and certifications are offered.
