About the role
The Part-time Help Desk Technician is part of the Information Technology department, reporting to the Coordinator - Help Desk. The position involves assisting faculty, students, and staff with technical issues via phone, email, chat, or in person.
Responsibilities
- Assist faculty, staff, and students with technical issues
- Install software and hardware
- Answer inbound phone calls
- Perform general clerical duties, data entry, and filing
- Enter incident and service request tickets
- Maintain Information Technology and media equipment
- Maintain and clean lab areas and equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
