Part Time - Heavy Duty Truck Technician

About the role

Responsibilities

• Service and repair work, drive train, steering, electrical, engine, suspension and brakes
• Troubleshooting and inspections
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions

Requirements

• Good computer and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance
• Must be able to read and write reports
• Diesel Repair experience is required
• Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card
• Valid State Driver's License required

Qualifications

• Prefer Diesel Program Technical School completion and minimum 2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• CDL is preferred
