Part Time Guest Service PM Representative (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) | Courtyard, Denver Park Meadows

Responsibilities

• Anticipate guest needs and provide solutions to ensure guest satisfaction and exceed expectations.
• Adhere to company’s standards of quality and professionalism.
• Respond to guests in a friendly and positive manner.
• Process check-ins and check-outs, verify billing, create reservations, and handle special requests.
• Aid guests by providing information about the hotel property, local attractions, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services.
• Work as a team player to meet guests’ needs and contribute to efforts of other departments.
• Follow the company’s guest service recovery program.
• Utilize proper selling techniques and strategies to maximize room revenues.
• Maintain room availability, follow restrictions, and adhere to booking policies and procedures.
• Drive sales and maximize revenue by up-selling rooms and amenities.
• Handle cash and process financial transactions according to company procedures.
• Use equipment properly and adhere to cost controls to reduce expenses and waste.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize work duties to produce required volume of work.
• Adhere to company general work rules, department procedures, and policies.
• Attend all required department and hotel meetings.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company, brand, local, state, and federal regulations.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years prior guest service experience required, preferably in a hospitality setting.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail, customer-focused, and ability to perform duties in a fast-paced environment.
• Predictable and reliable attendance.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis.
• Move throughout the hotel for extended periods (standing, walking, kneeling, bending).

Skills

• Knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures.
